3 · Required declarations

These declarations are part of the application and have legal effect. Read them carefully: the application is not accepted unless all of them are ticked.

The Arabic text of these declarations is the binding version.

Declaration 1: meeting the conditions of article (5/a)I accept that if anything I declare proves untrue, my membership ends at once with no right to any refund, and I will provide a criminal record certificate if the association asks for it.

I confirm that I have read the bylaws of the Association of Syrian Entrepreneurs and accept them in writing, and I will follow them and the board decisions made under them

Declaration 3: the legal status of membershipYour legal status is "supporting member" under article (4/2). "Founder member" is a descriptive name that creates no extra status or right. Membership does not let you attend General Assembly meetings, vote on the association's decisions, or stand for or elect board members, because the General Assembly is made up only of working members under article (11).

Declaration 4: no refund of feesArticle (10) of the bylaws: "A member, a former member, or the heirs of a deceased member may not get back the joining fee, the subscription fees, or the gifts or donations given to the association."

Declaration 5: membership dutiesBeing three months late in paying, after a warning, ends membership under article (6/5). Using membership for a personal purpose is a reason for dismissal under article (7/2).

4 · Payment method and notes

Do not pay now. We tell you the acceptance decision first, then you pay within seven days and get an official receipt stamped by the association, under article (38/1).

Preferred payment methodRequired by article (5/a-6). The price is set in dollars and paid in Syrian pounds at the official bulletin rate on the day of payment.
