Track record

Beyond the starting line

Our record predates any proposal. Below is what has actually been delivered since 2025 — who we sat with, what came out of it, and what remains afterwards.

Government engagement

Ministry of Communications & IT

  • A series of official meetings — including with the Minister’s advisor — establishing a working partnership.
  • A formal position paper submitted on behalf of Syrian and diaspora founders seeking to launch digital services in Syria.
  • Participation in national technology events as a recognised ecosystem body.
The value

AoSEn (SEU) is now one of the counterparts government turns to on startup regulation. The conversation moved from individual complaints to a structured sector position.

Cross-border MoU

Tripoli Entrepreneurs Club

The Role of Entrepreneurial Unions in Supporting Ventures and Attracting Startup Investment — the Lebanese Experience. With Fadi Mikati and Danial Dallati, Tripoli Entrepreneurs Club, Lebanon.

  • We deliberately studied a neighbouring union that already works, rather than designing our model in a vacuum.
  • Covered union governance, member value, and how a union becomes credible enough to channel investment.
  • Opened a standing relationship with the Lebanese ecosystem for future joint programming.

Institutional learning transferred from a comparable market.

Capacity building

Workshops and sessions

Founders leave with applied tools, not concepts. Sessions are consistently oversubscribed relative to venue capacity.

Social Entrepreneurship session

Social Entrepreneurship

Partner-hosted delivery keeps unit cost low and reach high.

Investment linkage

Demo Day with angel investors

Syria has capital in the room and founders in the room. What was missing was the room.
  • An SEU-initiated Demo Day bringing Syrian entrepreneurs face to face with angel investors.
  • Founders arrived pitch-ready because of the preparatory sessions that preceded the event.
  • Strong participation by women founders across the cohort.
For the first time in Syria

A structured, recurring pipeline that takes investment-ready founders into direct conversations with serious capital.

Ecosystem presence

Pitch nights, gatherings, online meetups, workshops, private sector dialogue, formal meetings and national conferences.

We are now a default participant in national entrepreneurship conversations — invited, not lobbying for entry.
